Data Systems Specialist and HMIS Administrator with experience across the full lifecycle of homeless services, from case management in the field to building and configuring the technology that supports it.
I started in homeless services as a case manager working directly with veterans. I sat across from clients in shelters and field offices, helped them navigate benefits, find housing, and rebuild stability. That work taught me what frontline staff actually need from the systems they use every day.
From there I moved into data, compliance, and system administration. Today I configure and manage HMIS platforms, build forms and workflows, write SQL and Python for reporting, and support hundreds of staff across multiple offices and programs. I understand HUD data standards because I've had to collect that data myself, report on it, and make sure it's right.
That dual perspective, from the field to the database, is what drives my work. I don't just build technically sound systems. I build systems that work for the people using them under real conditions, with real clients, under real deadlines.
